As such we will practice yoga at sunrise and sunset, in communion with the subtle energy of Light.
In Varkala, we will be staying in a private house with individual rooms each with its own adjoining bathroom facilities.
It is situated a few metres from a track that runs along a clif and 3 minutes from the beach.
Varkala, a small, quiet hamlet in the area surrounding the district of Thiruvananthapuram, offers beautiful beaches, an ancient temple to Vishnu, more than 2000 years old, the Ahsram of Sivagiri Mutt...
The bath complex of Papanasam beach (Beach of redemption/absolution of sins) is a place rich in thermal springs. Bathing in the these sacred waters is reputed to clean the body and the senses of all impurities and trespasses.
In Munnar About 9 kilometres from Munnar, we wil stay in wonderful terraced cottages, again with individual rooms and adjoining bathroom facilities.
Munnar is a tiny mountain station with splendid surrounding areas: lakes, eucalyptus forests...the air is exceptionally pure with a peaceul atmosphere. We can take walks in the tea plantations and go trekking in the Eravikalum park. It is also possible to return to Varkala via the Backwaters, a series of lagunes and lakes parallel to the Arabian sea, a landscape that is typical of Kerala.
